Guwahati, 3rd June 2024: In celebration of World Bicycle Day on June 3rd, Radisson Blu Guwahati organized a successful bicycle rally on Sunday, June 2, 2024. The event aimed to underscore the numerous benefits of cycling, not only as a promoter of a healthy lifestyle but also as a sustainable and eco-friendly mode of transportation. Dr. Ravi Kota, Chief Secretary of Assam, flagged off the bicycle rally.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from cycling aficionados and professional bicyclists. The rally started at 5 am from the hotel, followed a scenic route of around 20km, culminating back at the hotel. Mr. G.P. Singh, DGP of Assam, joined as a participant in the bicycle rally.
