Media Connect cordially invites you to cover the “KHUTI PUJA” of the Youth Association of Mohammad Ali Park Durga Puja. This Puja is particularly famous for its unique style of pandals and also for the social work which the committee carries out throughout the year.
Khuti Pujo is basically like the Bhoomi Puja that is done before undertaking the building of a house, construction of any project or factory or any permanent structure. Khuti Pujo is significant because it is a prayer to the gods to bless the construction work of the Durga Puja pandal. It is done before starting or erecting any temporary structure like the puja pandal for festivities and pious occasions.
