Kashipur, November 14, 2024: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kashipur organized a special Hindi workshop on November 12, 2024, aimed at discussing the importance of the Hindi language, its increasing use in government offices, and its expansion in the field of management. The workshop also explored various ways to encourage the use of Hindi and make it more accessible.
The keynote speaker for this workshop was Mr. Jagdish Ram Pauri, Joint Director (Official Language) at the Ministry of Education, Government of India. He shared his insights on the various aspects of Hindi as the official language and its effective use in office and administrative work. Mr. Ram highlighted the government’s efforts to empower Hindi and emphasized the importance of adopting it in management institutions. He stated, “Using Hindi in the field of management will not only encourage the language but will also facilitate better communication between students and staff.”
The workshop was coordinated by the institute’s Hindi Officer, Mr. Sharad Kumar Srivastava, and Finance & Accounts Officer, CA Mrinal Sajwan. All staff members of the institute actively participated in the workshop, showing their interest in the promotion of Hindi language. Various sessions were organized during the workshop, which included discussions on writing, reading, and the use of Hindi in official work.
This Hindi workshop at IIM Kashipur played an important role in increasing language awareness among all attendees and inspired its more effective adoption in government offices. The workshop concluded with a commitment from all staff members to promote the extensive use of Hindi and establish it as a key language in the workplace.
