National, 5th November 2024 – In an unprecedented series of events across eight states, TechEagle, India’s pioneering drone delivery company, marked a significant achievement by launching eight dedicated drone hubs in collaboration with premier healthcare institutions, including AIIMS Guwahati, AIIMS Rishikesh, AIIMS Bilaspur, and AIIMS Bhopal, among others. This monumental launch was inaugurated by Honble Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who emphasised the transformative potential of drone-enabled logistics in strengthening India’s public healthcare infrastructure. This project was one of the few other projects launched on the same day. Together, The total outlay of these projects amounts to more than 12,855 crore.

These hubs will serve as critical points for rapidly deploying medical supplies—including essential medicines, vaccines, and diagnostic samples—to underserved and hard-to-reach communities. With a targeted reach of over 200 locations across Assam, Uttarakhand, and Himachal Pradesh and others in the coming year, this initiative will be a game changer for India’s Drone Logistics Landscape.

Anshu Abhishek, Co-Founder and COO at TechEagle, commented, “Whole Team at TechEagle is very thrilled by this accomplishment. Our drone trials with AIIMS reduced delivery times to just 20-30 minutes—20 times faster than traditional ground transport. This competitive edge led us to secure major contracts, capturing over 80% of cumulative contract value in this domain.”

Drones have been deployed for services encompassing pharmaceutical transportation, urgent deliveries, and the conveyance of biological specimens for analysis,” said Prof. Ashok Puranik, Executive Director at AIIMS Guwahati. He mentioned that “emergency immunoglobulins were dispatched for dog bite incidents, water specimens were transported through drones and examined during outbreaks, and telemedicine capabilities were established to serve the needy”.

TechEagle pioneered Asia’s first full-fledged drone hub, and now, it has become the first company to launch eight hubs across the country in a single day. These hubs serve as a foundational step toward establishing a nationwide Drone Delivery Airline, envisioned as a shared logistics network capable of supporting deliveries across sectors, including e-commerce, quick commerce, hyperlocal services, and healthcare. Currently operating with a capacity of 50 flights daily, these newly launched hubs are projected to scale up to 5,000 flights per day over the coming years.

With these significant achievements, TechEagle is poised to leverage its expertise to expand into other vital sectors, setting new benchmarks in drone-enabled logistics. As TechEagle expands its footprint, its innovative solutions promise to reshape supply chains, providing efficient, rapid, and safe delivery systems across the nation.
