New Delhi, Sep17: Chief Minister Shri Prem Singh Tamang extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, on the occasion of his 76th birthday today, conveying greetings on behalf of the Government and people of Sikkim.
In his message, Chief Minister Tamang stated that the invaluable guidance, support and encouragement received from Prime Minister Modi continue to be a source of hope and confidence for Sikkim.
Recalling the Prime Minister’s presence at the closing ceremony of Sikkim’s State Golden Jubilee celebrations, the Chief Minister said that Shri Modi had appreciated Sikkim’s unique natural beauty, rich cultural heritage, tourism potential and achievements across various sectors. He also acknowledged the Prime Minister’s continued guidance and support towards the development of Sikkim and the wider Northeast region.
The Chief Minister highlighted India’s growing global influence and prestige, citing the successful conclusion of the BRICS Summit as a significant achievement. He expressed confidence that India’s rising stature would further contribute to the development and prosperity of the Northeast.
On the occasion of the Prime Minister’s birthday, Chief Minister Tamang prayed for his good health, longevity, happiness, strength and continued energy in the service of the nation.
He further conveyed his wishes for Shri Modi’s continued dedication to nation-building and expressed hope for greater achievements in the journey towards a Viksit Bharat, while wishing for lasting peace, prosperity and development across Sikkim and the entire Northeast region.
