Smallpox, Polio have been eliminated, Covid is also contained – but the incidence of Lifestyle Diseases, especially heart disease, Diabetes, high BP have been growing ever since. All of these being Chronic diseases, the healthcare burden to control these diseases are enormous. Moreover, the cost of complications of these diseases and the emergency treatment (of heart attack, Stroke, Kidney failure) are exorbitant if these diseases are not controlled. We are looking forward for more such partnerships for support of this massive project of Beat the heart disease’ and spread it to every Indian.”
