The initiative was organized under the leadership of Prof. Eram S Rao, Convener, Garden Committee; Pranahi ECO Club, Convener: Dr. Amandeep Kaur; and the Indian Knowledge System Club, Convener: Dr. Shikha Srivastava. The Navgrah Vatika aims to serve as a living classroom, inspiring students and visitors to appreciate the rich connections between nature, culture, and sustainability.
At Bhaskaracharya College, we believe that education should not only impart knowledge but also foster a deep connection with our cultural roots and the natural environment. The establishment of the Navgrah Vatika is a meaningful step in this direction, a space that symbolically and spiritually reinforces our relationship with nature, traditional wisdom, and the cosmic energies represented by the nine planets. Through this initiative, we aim to cultivate awareness, respect, and responsibility towards our surroundings among students and the broader community said Prof. Avneesh Mittal, Principal, Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences.
