Mumbai, August 25, 2026: Tamara Leisure Experiences (TLE) has secured five honours at the FHRAI 56th Annual Convention, with recognition spanning hospitality leadership, culinary excellence, people practices, property performance and wellness. The awards acknowledge the strength of both its teams and its diverse portfolio, reinforcing an approach to hospitality where meaningful experiences are shaped by people, place and purpose.
The honours encompass multiple dimensions of hospitality excellence across TLE’s portfolio. At The Tamara Coorg, Mohd Jafar was recognised as Hotel Front Office Manager of the Year – Luxury Hotels (Male), while Chef Baranidharan M of O by Tamara Coimbatore was named Executive Chef of the Year – Midscale Hotels (Male). Jijo Mathew of O by Tamara Thiruvananthapuram was awarded as Human Resources Manager of the Year – Upscale Hotels (Male), highlighting the group’s focus on people and organisational excellence. At the property level, O by Tamara Coimbatore was named Best Upscale Hotel of the Year, while Amal Tamara received the award for Best Wellness Resort, recognising its distinctive approach to holistic Ayurvedic wellness.

The FHRAI 56th Annual Convention, held from August 21 to 23, 2026, at Taj Ganges, brings together more than 1,000 delegates from India and overseas, including policymakers, industry leaders and key stakeholders from across the hospitality and tourism ecosystem. The Convention serves as a prominent platform for industry dialogue, collaboration and engagement on the evolving priorities shaping Indian hospitality.
