Royal Fables, India’s only authentic platform showcasing the craft, culture, cuisine and costumes of Princely India, is set to present its carefully curated Diwali Edit on 13th October 2026 at Grand Hyatt Gurgaon. Titled A Royal Diwali, the exposition brings together distinguished names in luxury, fashion, jewellery, art, lifestyle and heritage-led brands under one roof.
Curated by Anshu Khanna and Charu Singh, the Royal Fables Diwali Edit will bring together more than 50 heritage brands, royal ateliers and master artisans, presenting heirloom jewellery, couture, handwoven textiles, collectible art, handcrafted décor and museum-worthy objects, alongside a thoughtfully curated programme of conversations, fashion experiences and automotive heritage.
A Day of Royal Conversations, Craft and Culture
The festivities will commence with the inauguration by Rashmi Vardhan, marking the opening of the Royal Fables Diwali Edit and setting the tone for a day dedicated to India’s rich royal and cultural legacy.
The afternoon will turn its focus to one of India’s most enduring sartorial traditions – the saree. Celebrated saree drape artist Dolly Jain will lead an exclusive Talk Show – ‘Kisseh’, Reviving the Maharani Era. The session will be followed by a special conversation between Dolly Jain and women from royal and aristocratic families, exploring the saree as an expression of heritage, identity and personal style.
The conversation will bring together personalities including Rani Jaykirti Singh of Baria, Rohini Singh, Geetanjali Mandawa and Kamini Singh of Seohara offering guests an intimate insight into the evolution of royal dressing, traditions of Indian couture and the ways heritage continues to influence contemporary fashion.
The fashion programme will continue with a curated High Tea hosted by Shivani Chopra and Shilpi Gupta bringing together guests from the worlds of fashion, culture, design and lifestyle.
In the evening, the celebration will move outdoors with the HMCI Vintage Car Rally hosted by Sneha Chopra. Presented in association with HMCI, the rally will showcase India’s remarkable automotive heritage, bringing together some of the country’s finest vintage automobiles and adding an element of nostalgia and grandeur to the festivities.
Guests are invited to a curated walkthrough of the Royal Fables Diwali Edit, offering an opportunity to discover the participating designers, heritage brands, artisans and collectors and experience the exhibition through the lens of India’s rich cultural and creative traditions.
The day will culminate as an immersive celebration of India’s living heritage — bringing together royal stories, fashion, craftsmanship, art, automobiles and contemporary luxury.
With its distinctive blend of heritage, fashion, culture and lifestyle, the Royal Fables Diwali Edit promises to capture the grandeur of India’s past while embracing the spirit of contemporary luxury.
