Pink City Celebrates

Jaipur, Rajasthan – 22nd May 2024: Jaipur, famously known as the Pink City for its rich heritage and cultural vibrancy, is set to add another feather to its cap with the Jaipur Social’s JS Turf Tournament. Scheduled from May 15th to May 20th, 2024, this unique community event will take place at the Tesseract Sports Club in Mansarovar, Jaipur, and Googly Box- Panchsheel Colony.

The tournament, which is the first of its kind, aims to blend the city’s passion for art and culture with the spirit of sportsmanship and community interaction. Participants in the match Acers, JSC, The Boundary Breakers, Jaipur Maharajas, Dunesland, Malboro, Menhood, Jaipur Royals, Digital Backyard, Thoda Decent Boys, UrbanAura, Power Strikers, EMIAC Tech, Squashers, The Sledgers, Palm Leisurewear. Marlboro became the audience’s favorite but Palm Leisure’s consistent performance knocked them out of the tournament. The semi-final will be played between Thoda Decent Boys vs Palm Leisure and Manhood vs The Boundary Breakers.

This event is designed to take the Pink City’s culture and lifestyle to new heights, showcasing its residents as fitness enthusiasts and fostering a sense of unity and healthy competition. The tournament will feature 160 players forming 16 teams, all vying for the coveted winner’s prize of 25,000 and gifts. The six-day event promises not only thrilling cricket matches but also an opportunity for community members to connect and engage in a festive atmosphere.

In the final match between MENHOOD and Palm Leisure, MENHOOD emerged victorious by 41 runs. The key performances from MENHOOD in batting Vatsal scored 37 runs off 20 balls with a strike rate of 185.00, hitting 2 fours and 4 sixes.

Manohar Singh contributed 15 runs off 15 balls with a strike rate of 100.00, including 1 four and 1 six. And in bowling Rizwan Mansoori bowled 2 overs, giving away 14 runs and taking 3 wickets with an economy rate of 7.00. He was also named the Player of the Match.

The key performances from Palm Leisure in Batting Deep Karan Singh scored 10 runs off 3 balls with a strike rate of 333.33, hitting 1 four and 1 six and in bowling Harsh Goyal delivered 2.1 overs, conceding only 6 runs while taking 3 wickets, achieving an impressive economy rate of 2.77. Divay Bargoti bowled 3 overs, giving away 15 runs and taking 2 wickets with an economy rate of 5.00.
