Thane, 21st August 2023: KORUM Mall hosted the Mangala Gauri event to celebrate the rich Marathi heritage and rituals that have been passed down through generations. The event received enthusiastic participation from 277 women. The event included a variety of engagement activities that have been part of the age-old traditions. Women despite being decked up head to toe in ethnicity, enthusiastically participated in all the challenging tasks.

Timer-based games segment added an exciting element to the event, as participants raced against the clock to complete a series of challenging tasks. Contestants engaged in grating coconut for khaini and crafting vatan on pata variant. The event started at 12 p.m. and concluded at 6 p.m. The prize distribution ceremony was a heartwarming moment, as winners and their families celebrated their achievements.

The cultural event was a reminder that even in our fast-paced modern lives, the charm of tradition remains strong whilst preserving customs.
