Mumbai, Oct 09 2026: L’Atelier 1664 and Abraham & Thakore brought their ongoing collaboration, “Sari’torial,” to Mumbai with an exclusive showcase at the Abraham & Thakore store at Phoenix Palladium, Lower Parel. The showcase brought together the worlds of fashion, design and contemporary culture, offering Mumbai’s fashion and creative community an intimate look at the collection.
At the heart of “Sari’torial” is a contemporary interpretation of the sari, bringing together traditional Indian draping with structured tailoring, fluid silhouettes, layered textures and considered detailing. The collection reflects Abraham & Thakore’s distinctive approach to Indian craftsmanship, complemented by elements inspired by L’Atelier 1664’s signature house blue.
The showcase highlighted the shared design sensibilities of both houses, bringing together Abraham & Thakore’s modern approach to textiles and Indian craft with L’Atelier 1664’s French heritage and design sensibility. Guests experienced the collection through a curated walkthrough, discovering the craftsmanship, silhouettes and details that define the collaboration.
