New Delhi/Bengaluru,9th June 2023 The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), under the Ministry of Education, has released its fresh NIRF rankings for 2023, in which Bengaluru-based JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) a NAAC A++ University has been ranked 68th in the ‘University category’ among existing universities in the country. JAIN (Deemed-to-be-University) has significantly raised its ranking among universities, in the previous few years, rising from 99th to 68th between 2021 and 2023.

The NIRF Rankings 2023 were unveiled on Monday by Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan Singh, the Union Minister of State for Education and External Affairs. The Ministry of Human Resource Development reviews and evaluates the NIRF Ranking 2023 based on five criteria, including Teaching, Learning, Resources, Research, and Development, Professional practice, Graduation Outcome, Outreach & Inclusivity, and Perception.

In response to the rising demand for ed-tech, JAIN (Deemed-to-be-University) launched its e-learning arm, JAIN Online in 2021 intending to democratize online education and remote learning while also elevating the quality of online education and helping learners and working professionals achieve their career goals. JAIN Online offers programs in an online mode that have been accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the University Grants Commission (UGC). With more than 50+ in-demand electives, the platform provides UG and PG programs in MBA, MCom, MCA, BCA, MA, BBA, and BCom. JAIN Online has recently added six new electives to its kitty of online programs for July 2023 admissions. The new electives include MBA in Strategic Human Resource Management (HRM), Integrated Marketing, Digital Finance, Retail Banking Operations, MCA in Cyber Security, and BBA in Health Care Management.

JAIN (Deemed-to-be-University) has made significant contributions both in the academic and extracurricular fields. The University has carried on its sporting legacy over the years, which has enabled it to produce renowned athletes like KL Rahul, Rohan Bopanna, Robin Uthappa, Pankaj Advani, and many more. The second edition of the Khelo India University Games was held at JAIN University last year, and it set the record for most medals won.
