Indian Hotels Company Signs Greenfield Gateway Hotel Project in Raipur

Mumbai, Aug 6: Indian Hotels Company, India’s largest hospitality company, announced the signing of a Gateway in RaipurChhattisgarh. This is a greenfield project.

IHCL SIGNS A GATEWAY IN RAIPUR, CHHATTISGARH

Ms. Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate & Development, IHCL, said,

Raipur has emerged as one of central India’s important economic centres, driven by industrial expansion, infrastructure development and its growing role as an administrative and educational hub. The signing of Gateway Raipur will enable IHCL to cater to the city’s evolving hospitality demand and we are delighted to partner with Mr. Kanhaya Lal Agrawal for this project.” 

The 151-key Gateway Raipur features an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant and a bar. Guests can explore the fully-equipped gym, swimming pool or unwind at the spa. For weddings and social events, the hotel houses a banquet space spanning over 10,000 sq.ft along with multiple meeting rooms for conferences.

Raipur, the capital city of Chhattisgarh, is one of central India’s fastest-growing urban centres and a key hub for commerce, industry, and governance.

With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have four hotels in Raipur including three under development.
