Visakhapatnam: 25th March 2024: Adani Gangavaram Port the deepest and the most modern port in the country celebrated International Day of Forests by conducting a plantation drive of 15,805 saplings and trees. The port has completed 2 lac plantations as part of the 100 million plantation goal of the Adani Group. All saplings were developed in the in-house nursery of the Port

The port management and staff came together to celebrate World Forestry Day, a day dedicated to raising awareness about the immense importance of forests for our planet and its inhabitants. The significance of forests in addressing climate change and biodiversity loss, promoting sustainable forest management and conservation efforts.
