Manipal Academy of Higher Education Signs MoU with Broadridge Financial Solutions to Boost Industry-Academia Collaboration

Bangalore, Feb 25: Manipal Academy of Higher Education one of India’s leading institutions for professional education, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Broadridge Financial Solutions, a global fintech leader with a strong presence in India’s innovation and financial technology ecosystem. This collaboration aims to foster deeper engagement between academia and industry and equip students with skills aligned to evolving industry needs

The MoU was signed in the presence of representatives from Broadridge including Ritu Rakhra, HR Head; Akta Jain, EVP; Sarath Gollapalli, Vice President; Rashi Chhabra, Lead Early Career Talent; and Radhika Lohia, Process Lead Early Career Talent. Leaders from MAHE present included Prof. Madhu Veeraraghavan, Pro Vice Chancellor, MAHE Bengaluru; Prof. Iven Jose, Director, MIT Bengaluru; and Dr. Dayananda P, Dean, SOCE, MIT Bengaluru.

The event featured interactive sessions with students, during which representatives from Broadridge shared insights on emerging trends in financial technologies, evolving career opportunities, and the changing skills landscape.

Broadridge has consistently invested in nurturing early-career talent through campus programs, innovation challenges, mentorship, and skilling initiatives. The collaboration with MAHE aligns with Broadridge’s vision of empowering future professionals with relevant, real-world exposure.

This partnership marks a significant milestone in MAHE’s ongoing efforts to align academic learning with real-world applications. Through this collaboration, both institutions aim to bridge the gap between academic education and industry expectations by providing experiential learning, exposure to cutting-edge technologies, and domain-specific training.

As part of the MoU, MAHE and Broadridge will collaborate on the launch of the BR Course Curriculum, which will: 

  • Enhance industry-relevant training programs by integrating current tools and trends.
  • Organize guest lectures, industry-led workshops, and expert mentoring sessions.
  • Provide students with internship opportunities and potential career pathways.
