Mumbai Nov 24th: The National Abilympics 2025 concluded today at the Civil Services Officers Institute (CSOI), New Delhi, celebrating vocational excellence, inclusion, and resilience. Organized by Sarthak Educational Trust in collaboration with the National Abilympic Association of India (NAAI), and supported by DEPwD, TPCDT, and IndusInd Bank, the event followed four successful regional rounds held in Chennai, Mumbai, Lucknow, and Guwahati.

A total of 26 medals—8 Gold, 10 Silver, and 8 Bronze—were awarded this year. Maharashtra emerged as one of the standout performers, securing 8 medals across ICT, Hospitality, Crafts, and Services categories.
The two-day national finale brought together 59 regional medallists from over 20 states, shortlisted from more than 500 competitors in zonal contests. Participants competed in multiple vocational skill trades including ICT (Engineering Design, Desktop Publishing, Photography), Crafts (Basket Making, Crochet, Painting & Decoration), Hospitality (Cake Decoration, Patisserie, Cleaning Services), and Services (Hairdressing, Massage Therapy).

The national winners now move one step closer to representing India at the 11th International Abilympics in Finland (2027)—the world’s largest vocational skills competition for Persons with Disabilities.
