
Mumbai Central, May 18: Wockhardt Hospitals, Mumbai Central, has further strengthened its surgical and critical care capabilities with the addition of the advanced Trimax 650 operating table and a dedicated Transplant ICU, reinforcing its focus on advanced patient care and high-end clinical infrastructure.
The newly installed OT table is designed to improve surgical precision, safety, and efficiency across a wide range of procedures. With a load-bearing capacity of up to 273 kg, the system supports complex and bariatric surgeries while offering enhanced flexibility in patient positioning.
The table features ultra-low height positioning up to 530 mm for improved surgical ergonomics, reverse orientation capability, integrated kidney bridge support for urological and abdominal procedures, electro-hydraulic floor lock stability, and built-in battery backup with manual override systems to ensure uninterrupted functioning during critical surgeries.
In addition to upgrading its operating room infrastructure, the hospital has also enhanced its critical care services with a dedicated Transplant ICU equipped to manage high-acuity transplant patients requiring advanced monitoring and multidisciplinary support.
