XLRI Delhi-NCR Successfully Concludes 5th Annual Convocation 2026

DelhiNCR, Apr 09:   XLRI DelhiNCR, a premier management institution recognised for academic excellence, industry engagement, and policy-focused research, successfully concluded its 5th Annual Convocation at its DelhiNCR campus. A total of 207 students graduated this year, including 178 students from the Business Management (BM) program and 30 students from the Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Venture Development (IEV) program, marking another milestone in the institution’s growth journey.

The convocation marked an important moment in the academic journey of the graduating students, celebrating their achievements and formally conferring degrees in the presence of faculty, institutional leadership, and families. The ceremony reflected XLRI’s continued commitment to nurturing responsible leaders equipped to contribute meaningfully to business and society.

The event was graced by Mr. Suresh Narayanan, Former Chairman & Managing Director of Nestlé India Ltd., who attended as the Chief Guest and Convocation Speaker. In his address,  he shared thoughtful insights on leadership, resilience, and ethical decision-making, urging graduates to uphold strong values while navigating an increasingly complex global business environment. He emphasized that while success is often measured in relative and external terms, such as titles, wealth, or recognition, true fulfillment lies in the pursuit of inner happiness and contentment, which serve as more enduring markers of a meaningful life and career. Drawing upon timeless wisdom, he referenced the teachings of the great saint Kabir, whose dohas remind us to seek simplicity, self-awareness, and balance, reinforcing the idea that lasting peace and purpose stem from within rather than from worldly achievements.

Reflecting the strong industry alignment of XLRI’s programs, the graduating cohort benefited from robust placement outcomes for the Class of 2024–26 across XLRI campuses. The placement season saw participation from 145 recruiters, including 25 new organisations, collectively making over 576 domestic offers and 2 international offers. The average salary stood at INR 31.40 lakh per annum, with a median salary of INR 29 lakh per annum, while the highest international offer reached INR 1.10 crore. Notably, 42.5% of students secured Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs), underscoring strong industry confidence in XLRI talent.

Recruitment was led by top domains such as Consulting, BFSI, and Sales & Marketing, with leading organisations including Accenture, Amazon, Boston Consulting Group, Deloitte, EY-Parthenon, Hindustan Unilever, ITC Limited, PwC, and Kotak Mahindra Bank making significant offers.

Speaking on the occasion, Fr. Nelson A. D’Silva, S.J., Acting Director, XLRI DelhiNCR, said: “Convocation is not merely the culmination of academic learning, but the beginning of a lifelong journey of responsibility and purpose. At XLRI, we emphasise the importance of integrity, compassion, and a commitment to the greater good. As our graduates step forward, we are confident that they will lead with values, create meaningful impact, and contribute positively to society and the world of business.”

The 5th Annual Convocation brought together the XLRI community in a moment of pride and reflection, honouring the dedication, perseverance, and accomplishments of students as they transition into their professional journeys. It also reinforced the institution’s legacy of developing leaders who are not only industry-ready but also socially conscious and ethically grounded.
