Riyadh, Dec 19:- The EA SPORTS FC Italian Supercup continues in Riyadh on Friday night with current Lega Serie A leaders Inter Milan facing last season’s Coppa Italia winners Bologna in the second semi-final at Alawwal Park.

The match brings together one of Italy’s most successful clubs in Inter and a Bologna side making their first-ever appearance in the Italian Supercup, following their historic Coppa Italia triumph last season.
Speaking ahead of the semi-final, Inter defender Alessandro Bastoni who was in the team who lost to Milan in the 2024-25 Italian Supercup final to Milan in Riyadh earlier this year – underlined the importance of the going on to claim the trophy this time around.
“Winning silverware brings enthusiasm and confidence that can help over the course of the season,” said Bastoni.
“We know Bologna will bring great intensity and compete heavily in every duel, but our objective tomorrow is to at least match their intensity. If we do that, we’ll have a very good chance.”
For Bologna, the semi-final represents a landmark moment in the club’s history, with head coach Vincenzo Italiano describing their first ever appearance in the competition as an “honour”.
“It’s a responsibility for us, of course, and that gives us even more motivation,” said Italiano.
“We know it’s a very important moment and a great honour. In the last few days we’ve prepared very well for this match, and we want to give happiness to the president and to the fans. We will try to play in the best possible way tomorrow.”
The winners of Friday’s semi-final will advance to the final on 22 December, where they will face the winners of Thursday night’s first semi-final between Napoli and AC Milan.
