The American Club for International Women (ACIW Mumbai) proudly announces the 13th edition of its flagship annual fundraiser the ACIW Charity Shopping Mela, scheduled for Saturday, December 13 at The Trident, BKC. This highly anticipated women-led event serves as a vibrant platform bringing together Mumbai’s expat community, local families, artisans, entrepreneurs, and socially aware consumers for a day of creativity, culture, and meaningful impact.
This year’s Mela will host 50+ curated brands spanning fashion, jewellery, home decor, wellness, gourmet foods, children’s products, and handcrafted artisan work. Alongside shopping, the event will spotlight the efforts of impactful grassroots NGOs, including reCharkha The EcoSocial Tribe, Women’s India Trust, YODA, The Akanksha Foundation, Goonj, Karmann, and many others working toward sustainability, women’s empowerment, disability inclusion, education, and rural livelihoods.
A key highlight of the 2025 edition is ACIW’s fundraising dedication to the JVS Menstrual Health Project in Mankhurd, focused on improving access to menstrual products, hygiene education, and health awareness for adolescent girls and women in underserved communities. Funds raised will also support pediatric cancer care, animal rescue initiatives, and skill-building programs for individuals with disabilities, reinforcing ACIW’s long-standing commitment to community-centred philanthropy.
Visitors can look forward to a deeply immersive, festive experience featuring holiday-themed workshops such as snow-globe making, cookie decorating, and a puppet show all paired with a special appearance from Santa Claus. Adults can enjoy tarot readings, a mocktail bar, raffles, and premium holiday shopping with brands like Shazé, Charak & Moha, RangTitlee, Pause Café, Khajano, and many more. Complimentary wine and exciting raffle draws will add to the holiday cheer.
Welcoming expatriates, diplomats, business leaders, Mumbai residents, and conscious shoppers, the Mela promises an engaging and impactful outing for individuals and families alike with free entry and a full day of curated experiences.
