Commencing on October 27, 2025, the initiative featured a series of engaging activities  from integrity pledges and essay contests to digital awareness drives across NMDC’s projects and offices. In alignment with the theme, NMDC also launched a three-month-long awareness campaign (August 18 to November 17, 2025), featuring capacity-building programs conducted by serving and retired Government of India officials. A key addition this year was the iGOT module, through which NMDC officers received online training in vigilance administration. Extending the message of integrity beyond the organization, NMDC also held Gram Sabhas at its project sites, engaging local communities and stakeholders.

The valedictory ceremony on November 1, 2025, featured a keynote address by Major General Ajay Misra, General Officer Commanding, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Sub Area. He emphasized the importance of personal integrity in shaping institutional culture, stating, “Integrity is not a virtue we display when someone is watching; it’s the essence of our character. Vigilance begins with self-awareness and grows into collective consciousness. True vigilance is not about suspicion—it’s about creating an environment where honesty is instinctive and trust forms the foundation.”

He further added, “When integrity becomes a habit, vigilance becomes effortless. It allows institutions like NMDC to thrive on credibility, discipline, and purpose—ensuring that growth is not just measured in tons of ore, but in tons of trust.”

The event was attended by NMDC’s senior leadership, including Shri Vinay Kumar (Director–Technical), Shri Joydeep Dasgupta (Director–Production), Smt. Priyadarshini (Director–Personnel), and Shri C. Neelakanta Reddy (Chief Vigilance Officer), along with employees from various departments.

Reflecting on NMDC’s progress, Shri Vinay Kumar commended the vigilance team’s proactive approach, saying, “The Vigilance Department at NMDC is not just a watchdog—it’s a catalyst for change. As we transition toward a future built on digital interventions, data-driven insights, and preventive vigilance, our goal remains to ensure that fairness and transparency define every decision we make.”

The ceremony concluded with a renewed call to uphold integrity and foster a culture of ethical excellence across the organization.
