Mumbai, Nov 17, : Target Learning Ventures Pvt. Ltd., a leading publishing house and trusted provider of educational resources, celebrated Children’s Day by hosting a special drawing competition for children receiving treatment for HIV and Thalassemia. The event aimed to spread cheer and uplift their spirits. Organized with the support of the Paediatric Department, the celebration took place at Lokmanya Tilak Municipal General Hospital (LTMGH), Paediatric Centre of Excellence for HIV Care, Sion, with the goal of encouraging creativity and bringing joy to young patients through an engaging drawing competition.

Target Learning Ventures held the drawing competition for children aged 6 to 12 on November 14 at the LTMGH Paediatric Centre. Participants were encouraged to express their creativity through themes such as “If I Could Be Anyone” or freestyle drawing. All drawing materials, including coloured pencils, were provided. The children expressed themselves beautifully—some drew landscapes, others illustrated their favourite animals, and some created drawings of popular cartoon characters like Doraemon.
Hospital officials, along with representatives from Target Learning Ventures, selected three winners who were awarded educational materials, including books published by Target Learning Ventures Pvt. Ltd.
With the support and permission of Dr. Mohan Joshi, Dean of Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College and General Hospital, Sion, the celebration was graced by key officials from LTMG Hospital and the MDACS department, including Dr. Radha Ghildiyal, Head of the Paediatric Department; Dr. Vijay Kumar Karanjkar, APD Head, Mumbai District AIDS Control Society (MDACS); Dr. Yashwant Gabhale, Programme Director and Additional Professor, Department of Paediatrics, LTMMC & LTMGH, Sion; and Dr. Navnath Jadhav, Deputy Director, Care Support and Treatment Division, MDACS.
Dr. Ghildiyal encouraged the children to participate enthusiastically and enjoy the special Children’s Day event.
