Founder and Chairman Kishore Lulla said the new capital and acquisitions reinforce both the scale and discipline driving the company’s growth. “With over USD 1 billion in assets, USD 150 million in new capital and acquisitions, USD 35 million in EBITDA last year, and a clear trajectory to exceed USD 100 million by December 2026, Eros Innovation is scaling with both profitability and discipline,” he noted.

“We are building the sovereign creative infrastructure of the future  where content, capital, and computation converge to deliver intelligent and ethical entertainment to billions,” Lulla added.

The USD 150 million in completed transactions include a USD 50 million primary capital investment led by Plenitude Capital at the Dubai International Financial Centre, advised by Greenband, and nearly USD 100 million in high-value acquisitions across film, music, and AI-driven creative and technology assets. The new capital will be used to enhance AI infrastructure and compute capacity, accelerate immersive content production, and grow the company’s monetizable IP library  strengthening recurring and scalable revenue streams.

A core pillar of the company’s next chapter is Eros GenAI, a proprietary multimodal foundation-model platform developed in collaboration with IIT Chennai. Trained on 1.5 trillion cinematic, musical, behavioural, and cultural tokens, Eros GenAI is positioned as India’s first sovereign cultural AI stack. Its capabilities span AI-generated video creation and editing, automated lip-sync and voice synthesis, generative audio, and intelligent character generation. The platform will act as the intelligence layer powering Eros Innovation’s entertainment tools, applications, and live/virtual experiences.

Eros Innovation has also signed an agreement to acquire Empirical Wax, a London-based immersive entertainment studio renowned for real-time AI-driven musical and cinematic environments. The studio will be integrated into the Eros Xperiences division, augmenting capabilities in live avatar concerts, virtual stage environments, mixed-reality productions, and cross-platform storytelling across mobile, AR/VR, and physical venues.

Further strengthening its content backbone, the company has completed the acquisition of a USD 97 million intellectual-property portfolio, adding films, music, and multilingual digital content that will expand its licensing base and serve as a valuable source for future AI training.

With 80 million subscribers, a library of 12,000 film titles, 100,000 AI-ready characters, and more than 2 billion global fans, Eros Innovation now commands one of the world’s largest entertainment ecosystems. These assets will form the foundation of the upcoming Eros Universe Super App, a creator-economy platform designed to unify AI tools, tokenized content, character-led storytelling, and immersive experiences. Built for global access and monetization, the Super App aims to empower creators, partners, and fans to collaborate and co-create content and experiences in real time across markets.
