India, Jan 9: TOTO Ltd., headquartered in Japan has announced that worldwide shipments of its WASHLET product line have surpassed 70 million units. A major achievement that follows more than four decades of continuous innovation across residential and public restroom applications in Japan and international markets. Available in more than 100 countries, demand has increased significantly in the Americas, Europe, and Asia Markets. Spotlighting the rapid rise in adoption toward higher standards of hygiene, comfort, and wellness.

While global numbers continue to rise, India has emerged as one of TOTO’s most dynamic growth markets. Over the past three years, TOTO India has doubled its WASHLET sales, fueled by a post-pandemic shift toward cleaner, safer, and more wellness-focused bathroom experiences. Indian consumers are increasingly prioritizing personal hygiene and luxury in their homes, validating TOTO’s strategic focus.

From basic cleansing to advanced features such as EWATER+, PREMIST, warm water cleansing, warm air drying, deodorization, automatic lid operation, and ergonomic design.
