Hyderabad, Dec 15:– Marriott Executive Apartments Hyderabad  welcomed the festive season with a special Christmas tree lighting ceremony, hosting 31 children from Aashri Society, a Miyapur-based NGO that runs an orphanage, for a truly memorable holiday celebration.

Children from Aashri Society NGO join General Manager Ashwin Vaidya and the Marriott Executive Apartments Hyderabad team for the ceremonial Christmas tree lighting.

The event transformed the hotel’s festive decorations into a joyful platform, engaging young guests in a series of activities designed to create lasting memories. The evening featured live Christmas carols, followed by a creative drawing competition where children showcased their artistic interpretations of the perfect Christmas tree.

The highlight of the celebration was an elaborate festive buffet, offering pasta, French fries, doughnuts, cupcakes, and other seasonal treats. For many children, it was their first time experiencing several of these dishes, adding an extra element of excitement to the festivities.

The spirit of giving extended beyond the hotel’s team, as MEA guests spontaneously joined in to present gifts to the children, creating an atmosphere of shared celebration and community warmth. This organic participation underscored the universal joy of giving during the holiday season.

“The festive season is about creating moments of happiness and bringing people together,” said Ashwin Vaidya, General Manager of Marriott Executive Apartments Hyderabad. “Partnering with Aashri Society allowed us to share our celebration with these wonderful children and witness their excitement firsthand. Their energy and enthusiasm remind us of the true meaning of the holidays  connection, joy, and the simple pleasure of being together.”

MEA’s collaboration with Aashri Society reflects its ongoing commitment to community engagement, going beyond traditional hospitality to create meaningful experiences. The Christmas tree lighting ceremony also marked the start of the hotel’s festive calendar, setting a tone of inclusivity and celebration for the season ahead.

As the evening concluded with the illumination of the Christmas tree, the smiles and laughter of the children served as a heartwarming reminder that the best gifts often come from shared experiences and open hearts.
