Set against the backdrop of first and one of the most daring retaliatory strikes by the Indian Air Force, Sky Force takes us back to the 1965 conflict, when in response to Pakistani air raids, the IAF executed bold and decisive action. In a move etched in military history, the brave pilots successfully struck Pakistan’s most secure and heavily guarded Sargodha Air Base – a mission that exemplified valor, precision and unparalleled resolve. Sky Force draws inspiration from this real-life operation and focuses on the grit, determination and patriotism that drive our heroes forward.

Talking about the film, Akshay Kumar said, “Playing Wing Commander Kumar Om Ahuja was truly inspiring. My father was in the Army, so whenever I wear a uniform, it impulsively fills me with a sense of strength and responsibility. I’ve worn uniforms for different roles over the years, but Sky Force is the first time I’ve had the honor of donning the Indian Air Force uniform. That made the experience truly special.”

Talking about his debut film, Veer Pahariya said, “It was honestly an unforgettable experience getting in character for the celebrated war hero AB Devayya. I am grateful to the audience for giving so much love to the film and my performance during the theatrical run, and I can’t wait for the viewers to watch Sky Force on Zee Cinema.” Regarding Akshay Kumar he added, “Akshay sir was incredible, he was so warm, welcoming and always willing to explore different ways to bring a scene to life. As a debutant, he made even the most intense emotional scenes feel effortless and natural for me. Working out with him was an experience in itself; with 108 pull-ups, 108 push-ups, 108 dips; his energy could put any 20-year-old to shame. It was both inspiring and humbling to learn from him, not just as an actor but a human being too.”

Sara Ali Khan, speaking about her role as Geeta in Sky Force, shared: “Playing Geeta required me to stay deeply emotionally grounded because of the depth her character carried. I really wanted to ensure that I captured her strength, her hope, and the resilience she embodied. I spent a lot of time with the script, immersing myself in the key moments that defined her journey.“
