The Delhi edition, with one of the largest Comic Con India venues spanning over four acres with dedicated open-air outdoor space, welcomed international guest Chloé Hollings, globally recognized as the voice behind Widowmaker in a free-to-play, team-based action game Overwatch. Hollings charmed the audience as she shared her journey in gaming titles such as Valerian, Wolverine, and Wolfenstein: Youngblood. She also performed Widowmaker’s iconic lines for her fans, which made the interaction more special.

The spirit of storytelling continued with special sessions by some of India’s most influential and beloved comic creators and publishers. PRAN Entertainment, carrying forward the legacy of the legendary Pran Kumar Sharma, creator of Chacha Chaudhary, Sabu, Billoo, and Pinki, took fans down memory lane. Bullseye Press, known for its local mythological and superhero-inspired narratives, and Amar Chitra Katha, celebrated for retelling stories from the Ramayana, Mahabharata and local folk tales, engaged fans with nostalgia-driven conversations while instilling fresh curiosity among young readers.

This year’s festival also showcased the growing strength of India’s cosplay community. From over 500 participants, cosplayer dressed as Death Guard from Warhammer 40,000 won the Indian Championship of Cosplay Delhi Qualifier on Sunday with a cash prize of ₹50,000. Cosplay is one of the most photographed and celebrated elements of the convention. A participating cosplayer even got an over 10-foot-long prop as part of their costume, showcasing the extent of time, effort and passion these cosplayers put in. Fans were mesmerized by cosplayers portraying characters such as Ringwraith, Mr. Fantastic, Loki, Denji, Zoro, Wolverine, Black Panther, Iron Man, and even Popeye.

Across the venue, a variety of immersive experiential zones elevated the energy of the event. The Maruti Suzuki Arena Reflex Zones and the Crunchyroll Experience Arena became high-traffic spaces, offering interactive fun games for fans of all ages. The Avatar: Fire & Ash VR Experience Zone had Avatar cosplayers engaging crowds with photo ops and themed activities. Families flocked to Kinder Joy’s Batman-themed Gotham City, where children and parents enjoyed a brilliantly recreated superhero setting.

Gaming enthusiasts enjoyed an immersive experience at the biggest gaming arena, featuring Android Land, Lenovo Legion zone, Nodwin Gaming Arena and PlayStation which saw continuous engagement. Fans had great fun thanks to the PlayStation India Cup and the Android PAN Fest, which kept the excitement high throughout the event.

The main stage remained a hub of entertainment throughout the weekend with performances that kept the energy soaring. Comedy showcases by Aashish Solanki and Inder Sahani, an electrifying performance by the Hope Beatbox Crew, and dynamic sets by rapper Yung Sammy and MC Heam contributed to the festival’s vibrant, celebratory atmosphere. Fans were also seen enjoying the food courts, merchandise stalls, photo ops, and interactive brand experiences that added to the holistic Comic Con ambience.

Talking about the edition Akshat Rathee, Co-founder and MD, NODWIN Gaming said, “Delhi is where Comic Con India first came to life, so coming back here always feels personal. This year has been truly special as we recorded over 52,000 footfalls across three days, and Delhi once again proved why it is one of our most iconic editions. We also unveiled a massive 40,000 sq. ft. NODWIN Gaming Arena, our biggest yet, which showcased how gaming and esports have become central to youth culture. The energy hits differently, and only here will you spot a Spider-Man cosplay proudly sporting a turban. Delhi’s own Yung Sammy and Aashish Solanki got the crowd roaring, and it was incredible to see homegrown talent electrifying the main stage. Moments like these made the experience absolutely epic for the fans and for us.”

Expressing the success of the event, Shefali Johnson, CEO of Comic Con India, said, “Over the years, Comic Con has become a safe space for pop culture fans. In Delhi we saw fans who have been coming for three years now and are still carrying the entry tags as souvenirs, and also cosplayers who have been attending and participating for four years now. That is the level of passion and dedication seen each year at Comic Con. We aim to continue to support this fandom culture. As the first city to host Comic Con India, over the years it has witnessed the event’s substantial growth and impact over the years”

Creative zones like the doodle booth and the U & V Works miniature pottery booth offered fans personalized art and handcrafted keepsakes, adding to the vibrant atmosphere of Comic Con.

With Delhi Comic Con now concluded, the excitement shifts southward as Bengaluru Comic Con gears up to take place on December 20 and 21, promising yet another unforgettable celebration for fans.
