NEW DELHI, October 10, 2025 – Cognizant Foundation India marked a significant milestone of 20 years of transformative social impact across the country with a commemorative event at Cognizant’s Candor Tech Space campus in Gurugram. The event brought together over 150 attendees, including partner NGOs, Cognizant leaders, associates, Cognizant Outreach volunteers, and key stakeholders to celebrate the Foundation’s enduring legacy of collaboration, innovation, and lasting social change.

Cognizant Foundation Marks 20 Years, Launches ‘The Light That Lives on’

A highlight of the event was the unveiling of The Light That Lives on, a curated book, featuring real-life stories of individuals whose lives have been positively impacted through the Foundation’s initiatives in education, healthcare, and livelihoods. These narratives highlight the transformative change that can happen when communities, technology, and purposeful action join hands.

The event featured inspiring personal stories from individuals who have been given the gift of hope through dedicated efforts of the Foundation and its partners. It culminated with a special ceremony – Shine a Spotlight – honoring partner NGOs for their outstanding contributions to the Foundation’s mission of enabling access, equity, and excellence in education and healthcare. Distinguished dignitaries in attendance included Vinita Bali, Chairperson, Board of Cognizant Foundation, Dr Nandini Rangaswamy, N K Ranganath, T Narayanan representing the Board of Directors of Cognizant Foundation and Gaurav Hazra, VP & Head-Govt Affairs Asia Pacific & Centre Head – Cognizant NCR Delivery Centre.

The commemorative series began with an event in Chennai, followed by today’s gathering in Gurugram. The Foundation will host similar commemorations in Bangalore, and Pune in the coming months, continuing the nationwide celebration of collective impact that has reached millions across India.
