Bengaluru, Mar 13: Canara Bank Circle Office Bengaluru marked International Women’s Day with a vibrant celebration themed “Give to Gain,” emphasizing empowerment through generosity, mentorship, and community impact. The event brought together women leaders, employees, and guests to inspire collective growth and societal contribution. Smt Revathi Kamath, ex Canarite, renowned environmentalist, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, graced the occasion as Chief Guest. In her keynote address, she shared insights on how giving back—through environmental conservation, entrepreneurial ventures, and philanthropy—creates lasting personal and communal gains, urging attendees to embrace sustainable leadership.
Ms. R. Anuradha, Chief General Manager of Canara Bank, served as Guest of Honour, highlighting the bank’s commitment to gender diversity and women’s professional development. She praised the role of women in driving Canara Bank’s digital transformation and customer-centric initiatives.
Circle Head Mr. Mahesh M. Pai also graced the event, commending the participants and reinforcing the theme by stating, “In banking and beyond, giving knowledge, opportunities, and support multiplies our collective strength—true gains come from shared progress.”
The program featured inspiring talks, interactive workshops on work-life balance and skill-building, cultural performances by women employees, and felicitation of outstanding women achievers from the circle. Over 150 attendees pledged actions aligned with the theme, including mentoring programs and community outreach.
